Jan. 23rd, 2005 05:38 pmAw, I just found out my mother's cat Piglet has been sick. They think he might have had a stroke. His left side is weak and he's been disoriented and not eating and drinking. The vet gave him a steroid shot which seems to have helped, and he's at least drinking water now and not acting quite as odd. Poor baby. He's 13 years old so it's not a total surprise, but I really hope he's going to be okay. He's the absolute sweetest kitty ever. I remember the day I brought him home. My then boyfriend had found him behind the public library, a dirty scrawny little kitten. After I moved away from home he became my mother's cat. For his sake and my mother's I hope he gets better. They're such good buddies. I know she'd miss him terribly.

david_stillness! Yay! I enter these things fairly often and rarely win anything. Here's my winning entry, followed by the other one I entered that didn't win:
I think I actually prefer the pink-toned one that didn't win. Oh well, a win is a win! Go me! Oh, any they're takeable should anyone want 'em.
Ah, one of my favorite Buffy episodes is on now, "Intervention". It's also the first Buffy episode I ever remember seeing. I didn't start watching the show regularly until over a year later, but that one stuck with me. The Buffybot is so cute. "I don't understand that question, but thank you for asking!" So polite too. :D
Tommorrow is Stephanie Romanov's birthday, so I might make some icons of her tonight in her honor. She's the same age as me, or the age I'll be later on this year when my birthday rolls around, 36.
