I'm not a beardy girly either, but oh dear... by the end of the programme I was rather fond of it, bless him.
And as for how he looked, clambering around the Isle of Mull in that lovely outfit with that lovely hair and that lovely face... He could pass his DNA over here anyday he wanted.
