It's bad enough that she's been wearing her hair so dark (it's just so harsh next to her freckly skin), but pleeeeeze go back to the soft flowy auburn look! Yes, yes, off to the salon with you! I'll just keep Alexis busy for awhile...

Eek, yes. Alexis looks amazing, but Aly needs to run far, far away from that hairstyle. The bangs are so severe (and too long.) I almost didn't believe it was her, LOL.

She's been victimized by her hairdresser. For some reason, they're obsessed with blowing people's hair stick straight right now. I have curly hair, and I have to argue with hairdressers all the time.

Still, I think she looks beautiful as usual, and it's a different look for an evening out.

It also seems the thing for actresses to dye their hair that dark brown, whether it suits them or not. Somebody needs to slap some sense into these Hollywood colorists but quick.

Alexis needs to get on the TV stat! What would make me squee for days is if he followed Tony and James' lead and showed up on DW or Torchwood! Pleeeeeeez!!

Colorists want to be just like clothiers. They want to change looks and fashion regularly. I agree that people need to change occasionally, but hair color is something that shouldn't be messed around with too much. Really. If your hair is the wrong color you look terrible, no matter the cut, no matter your figure, no matter your clothing. The wrong hair color can just destroy your look. Second to that is the wrong hair style.

I think Aly is a natural brown head. Not dark brown, just brown. She's been coloring it off and on for years. She got redder and redder on BTVS. She really looks better red, like Jillian Anderson does, in my opinion. She's lucky that she has the coloring for it. Maybe they are giving her hair a break from the double processing of red hair? :shrugs:

I want Alexis to get a contract role on a series. I want to see him in every week like I see David. :sniff:

Maybe he will be the next one called over to DW or Tw. Who knows?

I remember seeing her in things when she was a kid and she had brown hair, but not as dark as it is now. I too prefer her with red hair, but if she wants to be a brunette a lighter shade of brown would be more suitable. Dark brown on those with the right skin tone can make them look sultry. For others it just makes them look older! Why youth obsessed celebrities are opting for the dark brown is beyond me.

I've known very very few people who look better when they go darker than their natural color. I can't think of anyone it helped. Wait, who is that actress named Mandy, something? She was in "A Walk to Remember." Is she a natural brunette or a natural blonde? I know I've seen her both ways, and she looks a helluva a lot better as a brunette. Light blonde is very hard to do to. I've seen people really get freaky looking by going light light blonde. I don't like to mention her, but I've seen pics of Paris Hilton when she was a natural brown-haired brunette with brown eyes, and she was so cute. Really. Sad.

It could just be the cut of the dress. Like I said, I don't want to start rumors - it just looked like there might be something there ever so slightly.

OMG, Alexis is just so guh in that photo. Aly needs to go back to her wavy, pretty red hair. The bangs scare me. I did see the post about her on gofugyourself and yes, the spiky bangs were worse. It was bad. But the long bangs and odd tied bodice on the dress and the hotness of Alexis is confusing. Aly, you are beautiful, please be going back to your pretty auburn/red wavy hair and do not be going out in bad dresses with too much fabric and odd knots. Please?
