Ha! That's the bits that were taken out of his spine during his back surgery back in December. Why he brought them with him to Jo Whiley's radio show I have no idea. Or why he even kept them in a jar. My sweet l'il dork.



I had cheese danish and other bad-for-me munchies at break this morning. The world is now a much brighter place. Let's hope it warms up too.

He had a herniated disc which meant the gooey stuff that is inside the disc was bulging out and pressing on nerves in his lower back. The stuff in the jar is the gooey gunk they took out before they closed up the ruptured disc. Yes, I read up on all this when he had his surgery. I am a DT geek after all! :D

I really don't like that jacket he's wearing. It looks kinda skeezy to me. :-/

Hmm, interesting. I'm surprised they let him keep it; it is medical waste!!

Yeah, they are kinda ming, those jackets. :(

Clearly, he should be wearing no jacket at all. Or tee!
