Please if you can, try to donate even the smallest amount of money to help the disaster victims in Southeast Asia. It's fantastic the way people the world over are giving what they can to help, but I hope that my fellow Americans will be especially giving and let the world know what caring and generous people we truly are. Some organizations will take as little as $5 in online donations. If you can afford a pizza or a matinee movie ticket you can afford to give something.

I've donated to the Red Cross, but two other good charities that are taking online donations are Doctors Without Borders and Oxfam. There are lots of other places to donate, so if you see another way you can give, please do!

This is a good idea, thanks for posting it and yeah I've done that a couple of Relief shops in the area have been collecting clothes and blankets and stuff like that.

My aunty actully works for one of them, and there sending a container full of toys appliances, clothes beds everything like that over there, an online friend is actully cutting her trip to US short and coming back to australia, to go over there.

Personally i think that doctors and nurses will get so much needed experince when they do this, and it's nice to see so many different people helping out in ways that they can.
