Feeling much better today, although still a little bit rumbly in the tumbly. We had a nasty storm roll through early this morning that woke me up. I didn't mind too much 'cause I love to listen to thunderstorms, especially when I'm in that hazy inbetween sleep and awake state. Then I fell back asleep and woke up to realize my alarm clock was blank. Power's out!

I'd only slept about 10 minutes past my alarm time, so that wasn't too bad. I decided to get a shower but not wash my hair since I wasn't sure if I'd have power for the dryer. I got a flashlight and bathed by that. The lights flickered on for a minute so I thought, yay, I can wash my hair! Of course as soon as I got my head wet they went out again. So, no hair dryer and my head's still damp. Power was still off when I left and there were police on the corner directing traffic since the traffic lights were out too.

We do have power here at work, obviously, since I am posting this. We also have coffee and a new coffee machine, so I'm off to sample a bit of that in a sec.

Since I spent most of yesterday away from the computer curled up in agony I've gotten a bit behind on my FL, but I'll try to catch up today. I just realized I missed a new chapter of Secretary--man, I was sick to miss that, wasn't I! I also want to read the Young!Wes fics y'all have recommended and I have a fic bunny of my own I might try to work on this weekend. Now, coffee!
