I used this blank in my Wes/Angel/Gunn animation I did yesterday and I couldn't stop giggling over how cute Wes was here, with the windblown hair and the little smirk! Awwwwwww.

As always my Wes is your Wes, just take good care of him! :)

OMG, so cute, agreed. I couldn't remember what episode this is from with Gunn driving. It is really weird if Angel doesn't drive, he is so anal about that. I always liked how Wes usually sits up front with Angel, such shippy goodness, like they are the parents with their "kids" squabbling in the back seat, or maybe it's just me. I've been accused before of W/A obsession. And shall be again. And again. Damn the icon is cracking me up again. Such a Gunn thing to say. *squee*

It's from That Vision Thing and it's when Wes says "It's one of the unwritten rules of being a dick" and Gunn gives him a pissed off look and Wes clarifies, "a sleuth, gumshoe, Sherlock." Gunn says "All I know is you use the word 'dick' again we're gonna have a problem". Then Wes says the name of the next Chinese herbalist shop they're investigating: "Van Hoa Duong" which gets another dirty look from Gunn. Hee!

OMG yes, I remember. That was wicked funny! (Not the joke, the delivery) You would think Wes would know enough not to say that anyway. Now I'm thinking about them having this conversation just before the thoughts on your icon, and it is even funnier. Now I see how they came to the lusty thoughts. Okay Gunn, pull over, here's $20.00, go to a movie, we'll pick you up later, find an alley to park the car, thank goodness the backseat is big enough to lie down in, "Oh, yes Angel!", "Oh, yes Wes!"...

I remember they made a similar joke on Buffy, I remember Giles laughing about someone, maybe Xander, saying Fort Dix. Obviously a very funny joke to Joss Whedon to use it twice.

Well, on the Spin the Bottle commentary Joss admits he gives in to the low-brow humor sometimes! In Joss' hands (and those of such talented actors) it works, though.
