Fanfic Author Appreciation Week

Tonight's honoree:

eloise_bright: Writer of the most delicious Young!Wes fic. Not only did she give us the adorable seven-year old Wesley in The Very Best Time of The Year (and subsequent ficlets) but she and her co-writer bethynyc gave us the mischievious adventures of teenage Wesley and his pal Nigel in Babes in the Wood. Her ongoing Switchverse series, in which Wes was Buffy's watcher before Giles, is dark and painful and moving. Her Wesley is funny, loveable, heartbreaking, and fascinating.

*sigh* I've been in such a schmoopy mood lately, I'm going to have to go back and read all her mini!Wes stories again and go "aawwwww!" and want to snuggle poor little Wes and fix hot chocolate and cry.

ETA: Her LJ also has the most gorgeous background. Ever. ::dies::

Thank you so much. I'm such a backstory addict, I love to imagine what Wes was like before he came to Sunnydale. mini!Wes is proving to be a popular little guy, and let's face it, who wouldn't love the blue-eyed tousled-haired chocolate milkshake-moustached little tyke...

And now you've all got me writing child Wes again, but not in a happy way...
