Most of them I make myself, although I do occasionally get them elsewhere. I've recently discovered that the VLC player (which is free, btw) makes nicer quality caps than the PowerDVD player I usually use, but it's a bit clumsy to manuever.

hmm. i have both of those. i cap from dvds with powerdvd, but for some reason i couldn't do it from avis. tho i don't think i've tried that on my current computer.

i didn't even know VLC could cap! i'll definitely have to check that out.

PowerDVD does fine for capping DVDs or high-quality AVIs, but on some AVIs I was getting poor resolution caps, especially when I tried to resize them. VLC seems to do better with those.

hmm. for some reason i can't get the VLC capping to work. it seems like it's doing it, but nothing shows up in the file i selected they go to. hmpf.

eh, it's probably for the best, cuz i'd be up till all hours capping Blackpool tonight, otherwise...

oh damn. i just figured it out. for some reason it doesn't work as jpg's but pngs work just fine. means i may be here all night.

Yeah, it took me awhile to figure out where it was putting the images as it didn't want to send them where I told it to at first. A bit clunky to use, but the caps come out nice (when you can find them!)

i know! i figured i'd dedicate one of the funny ones. but i did a lot of capping of the hott faces too. i swear that first date scene, right before the song...it makes me so melty.
