More Second Doctor love

Here's the little snippet of dialogue from "Tomb of the Cybermen" that I like so much. Victoria is thinking about her father, who died at the hands of the Daleks and placed her in the care of the Doctor and Jamie.

Victoria: He was a very kind man. I shall never forget him. Never.

The Doctor: No, of course you won't. But you know, the memory of him won't always be a sad one.

Victoria: I think it will. You can't understand, being so ancient.

The Doctor: Eh?!

Victoria: I mean, old!

The Doctor: Oh.

Victoria: You probably can't remember your family.

The Doctor: Oh yes I can, when I want to. And that's the point, really, I have to really want to, to bring them back in front of my eyes, and the rest of the time they sleep in my mind and I forget; and so will you. Oh yes, you will. You'll find there's so much else to think about and to remember. Our lives are different to anybody else's. That's the exciting thing. There's nobody in the universe can do what we're doing.

He's just so kind and lovely in that scene. Awwww. ::hugs him::

Then a few moments later is this exchange after the Doctor fries some Cybermats who had them cornered:

The Doctor: The power cable generated an electrical field and confused their tiny metal minds. You might almost say they've had a complete metal breakdown.

Jamie: [groaning] Ooooh.

The Doctor:[looking ashamed] I'm so sorry, Jamie.

I love this show. :D

Oh, I loves that arc!

It was the first Second Doctor arc I watched and I just fell in love with Second, and Jamie, and Victoria, and just... everything.

So far all i've seen is the movie with 8, but that hardly counts.
